Submission Request Procedure
Establishing a Transgenic Project


1. Contact either Dr. Critser of Dr. Karasseva to discuss your project needs. (click here for contact info)

2. Complete a Request for Transgenic Mouse Production Form. This PDF form can be downloaded and filled out electronically. Then it must be printed, signed and sent to the Core by FAX or mail. Core FAX number is

3. Prepare and provide DNA of appropriate quantity and quality, with map and photo of minigel.

4. Provide PCR primers and protocol to TAC.

5. TAC will advise you as follows:
• Core will complete final DNA purification and advise if any concerns
were identified
• Core will confirm initial injection days scheduled for your project
• Core will confirm delivery of pups and advise of time frame for
pup screening.
• Core will report initial screening of tail DNA by PCR.
• Any adverse events during this process will be noted and reported.
