DNA Core Facility
The DNA Core Facility is a state of the art research facility providing services to over 200 investigators on all four campus of the University of Missouri system, outside academic institutions and commercial enterprises. Our research facility provides services in:
- Sanger Sequencing
- Fragment Analysis
- Illumina (Next Gen) Sequencing
- Illumina Library Construction
- Affymetrix Arrays

The MU Office of Research provides oversight for several campus-wide interdisciplinary research centers. The DNA Core is one of several facilities that provide services to the University of Missouri and external researchers. Learn more about MU Research Core Facilities.
Join the DNA Core Listserv!
The DNA Core listserv is maintained by the DNA Core Facility to communicate timely updates to the research community on DNA Core services and relevant technologies. To join the DNA_CORE list, send an email to "LISTSERV@PO.MISSOURI.EDU" containing the text: "SUBSCRIBE DNA_CORE-L" in the message body.
Enzyme Freezer Program
The DNA Core also maintains the campus Enzyme Freezer Program which contains an extensive inventory of restriction enzymes, PCR and qPCR reagents, DNA and RNA purification kits, and various chemicals and biochemicals all at discount prices and with no shipping charges.
